In person and long distance facilitation of the re-evaluation of/changes to program delivery, intakes, follow-up, partner contact tools, and program evaluation. This may also include assistance with internal staff issues such as transference.

Workshops/seminars for professionals
This includes workshops that start at 2.5 hours in length or several day long “hands on” practical training sessions. Some workshop themes are; “Using the Open Hands Approach”, “Working with Abusive Men from a Position of Respect”, and “Retaining our Clinical Integrity/ Avoiding the Criminal Justice trap”.

Public education and awareness talks on male violence

Assistance with the creation of domestic violence intervention programs
Bruce can work with practitioners who are at the starting pointing in designing comprehensive domestic violence programming using his prior experience with mainstream and First Nations program development.

One to one phone consultations
Mr. Wood can offer long distance clinical consultation to front line service providers including the remote facilitation of post group debriefing sessions. He is also available to provide phone support to individual men who are using “Moving Towards the Light” as a guide to ending their use of violence and abuse.

“Moving Towards the Light”
”Moving towards the Light” is a self guiding manual for men who want to end their use of violence and abuse to women. It was first published in 2000 and was reedited for publication in print and on-line in 2010. Copies of the  web version of "Moving Towards the Light" are available online for a fee.
